WHY Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t want Caceres to leave Juve in January window
Trobule is, Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t want the Uruguay International to leave in the current transfer window, despite Caceres’ contract is set to expire in six-months time.
The former Barcelona man came back on the pitch against Verona on January 6 after that he had been sidelined for more than three months due to his involvement in drunk-driving car accident last September.
Caceres has been chased by Liverpool and Fenerbache, but also Milan and Roma have been linked with welcoming his services, but Massimiliano Allegri wants to keep the 28-year-old at the Stadium until the end of his contract.
Selling him in January would not allow Juventus to free up enough cash to invest on a new defender, not to mansion that Daniele Rugani can’t be the only back-up in defense, especially now that Andrea Barzagli is out of action with muscular problems and his return date is still uncertain.
