Who is the best right-back in Serie A so far? VOTE!

    • Edo Dalmonte, @edodalmonte

With Serie A saving the date (January 6th) for when the league gets underway again, it is time for us to review the best right-backs out there for the hypothetical 4-2-3-1 wehave in mind.

Readers voted in Inter shotstopper Samir Handanovic with 33% of the vote, beatig out Gigi Donnarumma, (Milan, 29%), Pepe Reina (Napoli, 21%) and Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus, 17%).

Remember, we're looking for who has played best so far, not who has the most potential or who has been better in the past.

But who has made the right wing their own?  Vote here from the following options:

    1. Alessandro FLORENZI (Roma) - A converted midfielder his flexibility has allowed him to play all over the place, even in attack. He has the most potentia playing as a defender, where he could be useful for the national team. His Champions League performance against Barcelona at the Olimpico justified all the hype: beyond cancelling out Neymar, Florenzi scored a fabulous goal and earned a place on the Puskas Award's podium.
    2. Elseid HYSAJ (Napoli) - A guarantee of quality for both Maurizio Sarri and Gianni De Biasi, his coach with the Albanian national team. A pain in the neck for anyone on the left.
    3. Bruno PERES (Torino) - His physical attributes have allowed him to charge up and down the left, and may help Torino reap quite a profit one day soon. He is worth nearly €20 million after president Urbano Cairo extended his contract until 2020.
    4. Sime VRSALJKO (Sassuolo) - The Croatian international has been extremely consistent, and is already on Juventus' wishlist for a possible move next year, though Barcelona have also expressed an interest. Check out his cross for Sergio Floccari's goal against Atalanta if you don't believe us.
