Torino keen to extend Hart loan-deal
England number one Joe Hart is quickly becoming a cult hero in Torino and the club are anxious to extend his stay in the city beyond the end of the current campaign. Tuttosport writes that club executives are begin to open talks with his parent club Manchester City to try to thrash out a deal that would see the 29-year-old remain in Serie A until the summer of 2018.
After a shaky start, Hart has won over the doubters and has endeared himself to the fans by immersing himself in the country’s culture and attempting to conduct press-conferences in Italian. Last week, during England’s friendly against Spain, fans of the club descended on Wembley to show their support for the player. Hart himself declared in a recent interview that he had “Never experienced supporters” like those of Torino, another perfect piece of public relations that will only go further to enhancing his popularity in the city.
