With six minutes to go in Genoa, Sassuolo looked to be easing to a comfortable and much needed away win against Sampdoria. Then Fabio Quagliarella scored his 100th goal for the club to re-open the match and a minute later, Luis Muriel brought the scores level. As the game headed into injury-time, the visitors were hanging on to a point that should really have been three; the fact is however, that they left the Stadio Marassi with nothing after the wonderful Muriel converted a penalty to break the heart of Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco.
