Rossi & Kalinic out, Jovetic & Pavoletti in: Fiorentina set to revolutionize their attack
Nikola Kalinic is known to be Napoli’s priority signing to replace Gonzalo Higuain. The partenopei had initially proposed Manolo Gabbiadini plus a cash offer in exchange for the Croatian striker, but with Everton that have entered talks for the Italian striker, Napoli could decide to sell Gabbiadini to the Toffees and invest proceedings on the former FC Dnipro star.
Kalinic would cost Napoli somewhere between € 30-35 million, whilst Gabbiadini’s asking price is € 25 million plus bonuses.
According to Sky Italia, Fiorentina are considering an offer for Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti should Kalinic leave the Franchi.
The closest striker to join Fiorentina, however, is Stevan Jovetic. La Viola are open to pay the player’s salary, but are not going to invest € 14 million on their former star who will be asked to lower his wages to join the Franchi.
Jovetic should sign with La Viola to replace Giuseppe Rossi who is close to joining Celta Vigo on a season loan. Rossi’s contract with Fiorentina expires in 2017.
