Roma's plan to keep BOTH Nainggolan and Pjanic!
How is that possible, with the club needing to pony up 30-40 million to ensure that Financial Fair Play regulations don't fine the club 4-6 million and reduce its Champions League squad size?
Well, the idea is to sell all the interesting youngsters Roma have lying around... and Juan Iturbe.
Though Coach Spalletti has said that he wants to give him a tryout, it looks like the Argentinian will be sold, though his price has decreased from the 30 million he was bought for.
Leandro Paredes and Antonio Sanabria are two more options, the first having shined at Empoli, the second in Spain with Sporting Gijon. Were Sanabria to be sold alongside Sadiq Umar, Roma would probably rake in something in the region of €32 million, with a lot of Bundesliga interest in the Nigerian, especially Borussia Dortmund.
The problem with Paredes... is that Spalletti is a very big estimator. We call it a problem, when in reality he's shown he has what it takes to play for the Lupa.
Among Roma's other undesirables, Adem Ljajic could end up in Turkey, Iago Falque' has many admirers in Spain, and Seydou Doumbia... has plummeted of late, but may still earn a big transfer fee from a Chinese club, even up to €15 million.
