REVEALED: Why Soriano didn't join Napoli
“Soriano wanted to join Milan”, de Laurentiis jr. told the Italian journalists.
“He didn’t sign with us because he has been waiting for Sinisa Mihajlovic’s call until the very last minute, but then it was too late to join Napoli.”
The 36-year-old has also revealed which will be Camilo Zuniga’s future at the club.
“He will leave in January. He has been injured for long time and is not eligible to play for the whole 90 minutes right now. We’ll purchase a good player to replace him, but we are not looking for someone who could undermine dressing room harmony.”
