REPORT: Juventus shot down Barca €80m Xmas bid for Dybala
Everyone is crazy for Paulo Dybala. So crazy in fact, that Barcelona already made a mega offer for La Joya before Christmas.
According to Tuttosport, Barcelona Director Ariedo Braida offered over €80 million for the former Palermo star before Christmas, twice as much as what Juventus paid for him in the summer. Dybala, however, has no notion of leaving, and wants to honour his five-year deal, as well as win a Champions League as a Juventus player.
Furthermore, it is emerging that the Argentinian is considered to be indispensable to Juventus' cause and hence not for sale, whilst Paul Pogba isn't quite there.
If a huge offer were to be made for the Frenchman, Juventus would listen. In fact, the Catalans have obtained the promise that were the Old Lady to want to sell, they would be the first to know.
Quite a concession for a player who is wanted by Real Madrid (who are under a transfer ban), Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich.
Unlike Dybala, then, Marotta is willing to listen to any and all offers, though he wants to keep the French international as long as possible, and doesn't want to give him away for anything short of a huge offer.
