    Real Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo asks contract extension

    Cristiano Ronaldo has talked about his future with Spanish paper AS. The Portuguese star has declared that the 2015-16 campaign was the best of his career having won the Champions League with Real Madrid and the European Championships with his national team, the first international trophy in Portugal’s history.

    CR7, however, has also asked Real Madrid to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

    “I’ve spoken to the Florentino Perez [about a contract extension]. We are going to meet after my holidays and I expect the club to do something.”
