PSG turn down loan offer from Napoli for Rabiot
Maurizio Sarri wants to strengthen the Partenopei midfield in January as Mirko Valdifiorni, Omar El Kaddouri and David Lopez are struggling to hold a candle to senior midfielders Allan, Marek Hamsik and Jorginho.
Despite Rabiot’s request to leave the Parc des Princes on loan in the upcoming transfer window, PSG rejected Napoli’s offer as they consider the 20-year-old a natural backup of Marco Verratti.
A new meeting between the two sides is expected to be held in the next few days as Napoli want to carry on transfer negotiations and PSG could eventually decide to let the player leave for six months.
Juventus, Inter, Roma, Milan and Inter are also interested in Rabiot’s services and could rival Napoli in case the French club will open to his departure.
