After losing Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus, Napoli has wasted no time in trying to find a successor. From Bacca to Dzeko, there are many profiles that are pleasing to the vesuviani but there is one player that coach Maurizio Sarri wants above any other, Inter’s Mauro Icardi.
 

La Gazzetta Sportiva reports that an offer of €30 million plus Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini has been the first proposal from the vesuviani, but there has been a negative response from the nerazzurri despite the player fitting perfectly into coach Mancini’s 4-2-3-1 system. Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara, has made it quite clear that he will only consider leaving the San Siro for offers in excess of €50 million; Napoli will continue to pursue the 23-year-old Argentine.
