Milan squad comes out in support for Mihajlovic

It looks like Silvio Berlusconi is in a minority of one at Milanello when it comes to evaluating Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's work.

Never a fan of the Serbian hardman, Milan's owner has hardly been effusive in his praise, despite the Rossoneri riding a wave of 10 games undefeated, and recently coming off an impressive 1-1 draw at home to second-placed Napoli.

And now, two key members of the dressing room have come out in support of the coach, goalkeeper Cristian Abbiati even saying that it would be "a mistake" to end the Mihajlovic experiment now.

“Mihajlovic is, in my opinion, the right man to build something special here,” Abbiati said in the pre-match conference ahead of this weekend's clash with Torino.

“The foundations are there. It would be a mistake to interrupt this rebuild”.

Ignazio Abate was effusive in his own way, saying that "compared to previous years, we work with a completely diffent intensity during the week.

"We can tell, we can hold our own physically in the second half, we saw that against Napoli".

How will Berlusconi react? Think he'll still leak juicy quotes to the media to criticize the Serb's team selection after today? It seems unlikely.
