Mihajlovic loses rag, warns Balotelli: “Those who don't work... won't play!”
Alessio Cerci’s last-minute goal frightened the Rossoneri, who came very close to blowing a game they had dominated.
The Serbian manager was particularly angry at Liverpool loanee Mario Balotelli, who came off the bench to replace Carlos Bacca with five minutes still on the clock.
The Italian striker’s attitude literally drove Mihajlovic lmad. After the final whistle, the manager ran towards the 26-year-old to voice all his discontent, and if it hadn't been for Milan sports trainer Antonio Bovenzi, the two would have continued their animated debate on the pitch.
“It is my fault too”, Mihajlovic told the journalists after the game.
“Those who don't work hard in training won't play. There's going to be no more of that”
“Balotelli isn't the only one. There are two-three other players who also did not show the right attitude. I don’t need to say who they are, they know who they are".
