Manchester United told they can have Portuguese midfielder for just 23 million
Last summer he was one of European football’s hottest names but just 12 months on, young Portuguese play-maker Renato Sanches may be about to become available for a knock-down price.
According to Kicker (via Sunsport) Bayern Munich have slashed their asking price for the 19-year-old who has failed to command a first-team place in boss Carlo Ancelotti’s side. This will be music to the ears of Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho who has always maintained that had he arrived at Old Trafford earlier than last summer, the player would have developed into an Old Trafford star.

Latest reports suggest that the Bundesliga champions will accept an offer of around £23M for the player after they captured the signing of Corentin Tolisso from Lyon. Mourinho is also reported to want to team the Portuguese international with Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera in a three-man midfield next term.
Bayern were initially understood to have been looking for £30.5M for the teenager and now it could be down to the player’s desire to join his fellow countryman in the Premier League.
