Lulic on Rudiger; "In Stuttgart he was selling socks & belts"

The fall-out from today’s Derby della Capitale continues with Lazio midfielder Senad Lulic launching a verbal assault against Roma defender Anthony Rudiger. Responding to recent quotes from the German that he did not even know who the coach of Lazio was, Lulic explained that; “His comments before the match were incredible and lacked respect. In Stuttgart until two years ago he was selling socks and belts but I don’t blame him, it’s the environment that makes people say the things they do”.

When he finally got on to the subject of the game he explained that; “We have lost the match on a single error. Things you should never do in a derby game. We will put this out of our minds and start again tomorrow. What counts is at the end of the season”.

Goals from Kevin Strootman and Radja Nainggolan gave the giallorossi a 2-0 win over their city rivals in the weekends big match in Serie A.
