Liverpool, Man United send scouts to watch €60m Porto sensation
A Bola exclusively reported yesterday that both Liverpool and Manchester United sent observers to watch the 25-year-old midfielder as Porto defeat Nacional 7-0.
While the win allowed the Dragons to keep pace with leaders and rivals Benfica (who are a point ahead), the summer looks to be a selling one for the Oporto side, with Porto receiving feelers from the likes of Kaiserslautern, Montpellier, Nice, Sevilla and Trabzonspor.
Danilo won’t come cheap - having scored 2 goals and made one assist this season - the Portuguese national has a €60 million clause in his deal, one which was inserted a few weeks ago when he signed a new deal until 2022 with the Dragons.
Danilo had previously attracted interest from Juventus and Arsenal, though the former seem to have been scared off by the price. A former Parma player (five Serie A appearances), Danilo has 17 caps with his country, scoring once.
