    AC MILAN SALE: FININVEST CONFIRMS EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATION AGREEMENT

    14.20 – CONFIRMED: Fininvest have announced they have signed an exclusive negotiation agreement with a China company interested in ‘acquiring a stake in AC Milan’. The two parties have also agreed a memorandum of understanding to develop negotiation, Fininvest have also announced.
    “The exclusive negotiation period’s duration is compatible with the complexity of matters that both parties will have to discuss about and with the agenda of club.”

    12.15 – Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to sign an exclusive negotiation agreement with a Chinese group interested in acquiring a 70% stake in AC Milan. Fininvest CEO Pasquale Cannatelli will also sign the agreement today during the extraordinary shareholder meeting. The Chinese consortium represented by Sal Galatiolo will have the exclusive right to negotiate AC Milan’s majority share acquisition for the next month.


    This could be a decisive day for AC Milan’s future. An extraordinary meeting of Fininvest’s shareholders is expected to begin in a short while in Milan. Silvio Berlusconi’s holding company will decide whether to accept the Chinese group’s offer to acquire a majority stake in AC Milan.
