Lazio open talks over Chelsea starlet

Lazio are interested in signing former AC Milan midfielder Mario Pasalic who spent the last season on loan at AC Milan and has already made return to Chelsea. The Croatian starlet had a bad start to the season but he eventually managed five goals and one assist in 24 Serie A appearances.

The Coppa Italia finalists are believed to have opened talks over the singing of the 22-year-old with Lazio that would be open to sign the talented midfielder on loan.
Lazio have qualified for the Europa League last season and need to have a deeper squad in order to play three competitions next season.

The 22-year-old has been identified as the perfect replacement for Marco Parolo who is a regular Lazio starter.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, talks between Chelsea and Lazio ‘have intensified’ over the last few weeks and the Serie A side could make an opening bid to sign Pasalic next week.
