    Lazio, Inter are serious about Lucas Biglia

    Inter Milan are coming off a 4-2 win against Fiorentina yesterday as Stefano Pioli's men will try to climb back up the standings. Pioli will be hoping that Inter sign a few key players in January as they have interest in Lucas Biglia of Lazio. Biglia was coached by Pioli during his Lazio days as the Argentine player was always admired by the Italian coach.

    According to Premium Sport, Inter have sent Javier Zanetti to convince Biglia to join the nerazzurri. Biglia's current contract expires in 2018 with Lazio. Inter's plan is the following: to present Lazio with a 28 million euros offer (payable in 2 years) for Biglia. It seems like it will be more complicated to convince Lazio than the player himself.

    Lazio are currently fourth in the Serie A standings and are only one point off second and third placed Roma/Milan. Their upcoming game will be against Roma in the Roman derby.
