Latest: PSG join Barca, Man United in Griezmann race

Paris Saint-Germain have sneaked into the race for Antoine Griezmann, according to reports.

The French international may not be long for Atletico Madrid, if the latest reports are accurate.

With news emerging that the Colchoneros’ management is unhappy with the 26-year-old’s inability to score this season - he’s stuck on two goals in ten Liga games - the Frenchman sunk to a new low after Saturday’s 0-0 bore-draw with Real Madrid, being whistled at by Atleti fans at the Wanda Metropolitano.

As we can reveal, PSG are a sneaky late arrival in the race, despite spending a combined €402 million on Neymar and Kylian M’Bappe.

Griezmann has scored 86 goals in all competitions since joining the Colchoneros, and has a clause that will temporarily revert to 100 million this summer.

He was heavily courted by Manchester United last summer, with Coach Jose Mourinho known to be a big fan.

Barcelona really wanted him last summer, and were ready to use some of the €222 million they got from Neymar, but stepped back when it emerged that Atleti couldn’t move. Griezmann kept quiet too, proof that he has behaved correctly towards his current club, which currently sits in fourth place in La Liga.
