Juventus Transfer News: Lavezzi more likely to join than Embolo
The Old Lady wants to invest big money on a central midfielder next month. That’s the club’s priority.
Moreover, should Ezequiel Moralez's agent convince PSG to let the Argentina international leave the Parc des Princes six months before the end of his contract, Giuseppe Marotta would be more than happy to sign the former Napoli star.
The 30-year-old striker wants the same salary that he is earning in Paris right now: € 4 million a year. Juve could make an effort in order to satisfy the player’s request, but only in case he leaves PSG in January for a really cheap price or – even better – for free. With Juve and PSG not on good terms, this option doesn’t sound very realistic.
Lavezzi allegedly turned down an Arsenal approach, while Inter and Barcelona have also set their sights on him.
In other news, Wolfsburg have recently offered € 25 million to Basel to sign the Swiss club’s rising star Embolo. Juve don’t want to join an international auction for the 18-year-old ace, as Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton are interested in the player too, while Juve would prefer to invest that amount of money on a difference-maker in central midfield.
