Juventus reject Man City bid for Bonucci

Leonardo Bonucci has imposed himself as one of the best centre-backs in the international scene, so much so Pep Guaridiola wants to bring him to Manchester City.

The Catalonian tactician praised the Italy international after Juventus’ meetings with Bayern Munich in the Champions League last season claiming ‘he is one of the best defenders in the world’.

Manchester City have tried to gift Guardiola with the 29-year-old defender offering € 45 million plus € 7 bonus but Juventus have rejected the proposal of the Premier League giants.

Bonucci is not for sale. The Old Lady considers him priceless and won’t be even listening to offers for the former Bari man this summer.

Manchester City are the second Premier League club that try to sign Bonucci. Chelsea’s offer for Bonucci at the beginning of June was also rejected by the bianconeri.

Bonucci, 29, has 49 appearances and three goals with Juventus in the 2015-16 campaign. He is under contract with the Serie A giants until 2020 and featured as one of the most impressive player for senior Italy national team at EURO 2016.

The product of Inter academy has 62 appearances and four goals with the azzurri.
