Juventus News: Simone Zaza reveals he wants more game time
The Italy International was asked questions both concerning Italy national team an Juventus. Here’s what he told Italian journalists.
“I am happy for my performance against Spain. Of course everyone would like to play as much as possible ahead of EURO 2016 but our group is very strong and solid.”
“Conte has been teaching us a lot. We can’t only be a selection of players, we have to be like a real team and be protagonist of EURO 2016.”
“I am sorry Conte is leaving, because he has taught me a lot and he was the first one to call me to Italy squad. I’ll be always grateful to him.”
“I had been struggling a bit to settle in well at Juve, but now I am feeling grown up and more mature, even if I still need to improve a lot.”
“When Conte had said he would have only called those playing on a regular basis for their clubs I was a bit worried, but that has stimulated me even if I’ve never had the most certainty about getting a call-up.”
“I want to win the Serie A title with Juve and then I’ll think about my future. I am the striker with the less game time in the squad, but I am not concerned about that.”
“The club didn’t want to sell him in January, nor I wanted to leave, that would have been a defeat. Of course I hope I am going to get more playing time in the future, no one likes sitting on the bench.
“I am a Juventus player now and I’d like to become a great player at Juve before leaving, let’s see.”
