Juventus and Barcelona to go head to head for France midfield starlet
Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that the Old Lady has been scouting the French starlet several times this season as the Serie A giants’ director of football Fabio Paratici is a long time admirer of the talented midfielder who has become the replacement of Corentin Tolisso at Lyon.
The last time Juventus scouts watched Tousart in action was during the U21 game between France and Bulgaria. Juventus have confirmed Paratici that Tousart is Juventus material and that it would be worth to keep monitoring him in the coming months.
Mundo Deportivo claims Barcelona are also interested in the French midfielder with the La Liga giants who have also sent their scouts to watch Tousart in action.
Lyon and Barcelona are on very good terms having already completed the transfer of Samuel Umtiti who swapped the French side with the Catalans one year and a half ago.
The contract of Tousart, however, expires in 2022 which means both clubs will need a huge offer to persuade Lyon president Aulas to sell his starlet in the summer.
Both European giants, however, will surely make an attempt to sign the player in the summer.
