Juve-Inter for Verratti but beware of Chelsea

Juventus and Inter are set to go head to head to try to sign PSG midfielder Marco Verratti but according to Bleacher Report, the two Italian giants will not have everything their own way as they try to tempt the 23-year-old back to his homeland.

The portal claims that Chelsea are also keen on making a move for the player after his recent falling-out with current boss Unai Emery. His substitution early in the second-half in last weekend’s 0-0 home draw with Marseille and yesterday’s photograph which captured the Italian international with a cigarette in his hand, may now accelerate a move away from the French capital.

Verratti has been at the French champions since 2012 and has become a firm favourite with the fans at the Parc des Princes. His agent recently stated how happy he was in Paris and that he wanted to lift the Champions League trophy with his current employer. Those statements look to have gone against the recent events coming out of the club as Verratti seemingly contemplates his future.
