It seemed as though Chelsea would be the team in the Premier League that could tempt Leonardo Bonucci away from Juventus but according to La Stampa, it’s the two Manchester giants who are vying for his signature. Mourinho and Guardiola look set to go head-to-head both on and off the field this summer and the 29-year-old Italian international could be at the centre of their tussle. The “Special One” wants to reinforce a defence in which there is a need for a genuine world class player, whilst long-time admirer Guardiola, wants to build his new look team around him; Juventus however, does not want to sell its defensive lynch pin.
