As reported earlier, the 27-year-old center back Andrea Ranocchia could leave Inter to join city rivals AC Milan, even though –as reported by the Corriere dello Sport- the nerazzurri would rather sell their player abroad, where he is a target for Newcastle United, Tottenham, Everton and Crystal Palace; in any case, also considering the fact that Danilo D’Ambrosio, Yuto Nagatomo and Martin Montoya are intended to leave too, the Lombardian club will probably have to reinforce its team’s defense during the next transfer window. One of Inter’s main targets remains Hellas Verona 23-year-old Jacopo Sala, but the nerazzurri –as reported by the same media- are also interested in Benfica 22-year-old right back Nelson Semedo: this latter has been recently observed by the Italian club’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio, but added to his contract there is a 45-million-euros release clause, so that Sala remains a more concrete option, even because he can also play as a winger or a midielder.
