    Inter make Verratti contact

Marco Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli has met Inter over a possible transfer of his client at the San Siro, Le Parisien reports.

According to the reliable paper, the nerazzurri have recently met the Italian player’s agent after that he had hit out at French press for having harshly criticized his client. Di Campi had even gone further threatening French media and saying that Verratti could leave PSG before the end of his contract in 2021.

Juventus are also interested in welcoming the player’s services, but the Old Lady is not on very good terms with PSG, a detail which could prevent the Serie A giants from signing their long-time target.

The bianconeri signed Kingsley Coman as a free agent in 2013 and nearly brought youngster Ikone to Turin last summer, leaving PSG’s chiefs not impressed at all.

AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella has also said that he considers Verratti a world-class player and that the Italian regista was close to joining his Fiorentina side before he moved to PSG.

The future of Verratti is up in the air and Inter are said to be the club that have made the first step to sign him. Inter’s main concern, however, is the player’s € 6 million a year contract, especially considering that if the Italian star really decides to leave the Parc des Princes that will be the beginning of a bidding war involving all the best European clubs.
