Here’s how Mino Raiola wants to revolutionize the transfer market
Talking to RAI’s Zona11 PM Mercato on RAI Sport, Raiola has proposed his own view on the future of the transfer market, proposing some radical changes that would modify the shape of the transfer windows as we know them today.
“I remember everyone wanted to come to play in Italy. At the beginning of my career I used to bring Ajax players to Foggia or Padova. Today, everyone goes crazy for the Premier League. Players ask me to go to Hull City, where there is nothing, not even a hotel.”
“I think UEFA is just a commercial body which is killing single federation and just invest on the Champions League. Football must improve and in order to improve we have to change the dates of the transfer windows.”
“I’d only make one, opening it on the 1st of April and closing it on the first of July, than no more transfers for a year.”
