Here’s how Inter want to steal AC Milan’s top January midfield target from under their noses
Both Inter and AC Milan will be short of cash in the winter transfer window as the Chinese takeover of AC Milan is being postponed to the 3rd of March, whilst Inter will have to sell some of their players before signing new ones in order to stick to the FFP rules.
That’s why, according to today’s edition of La Nazione neither Inter nor AC Milan are going to enter a bidding war but they will try to convince Fiorentina proposing swap deals. The Italian paper claims that Stevan Jovetic could be the key for Inter to convince Fiorentina to sell Badelj.
The Serie A giants are considering a dry swap deal involving Badelj and Stevan Jovetic. The Montenegro International is a former Fiorentina player and La Viola’s DS Pantaleo Corvino is a long time admirer of the former Manchester City star. Given that Badelj is not going to extend his contract expiring in June 2018, a swap deal could be the perfect solution for both players and both clubs.
