Gabigol, Inter paid 29.5 million for the player: here is Santos' letter to Barcelona (picture)
3 days to match an offer- After the Neymar signing, Barcelona had a an option on Gabigol. Santos had given them a 3 day window to match any offer received for the player.According to Barcelona's lawyers, this option was not respected. Thanks to Brazilian site UOL Esporte, new details have come out.
The official document- Santos did send the signed letter to Barcelona on August 28th 2016 but because of international transfers and the summer transfer window that was about to close, they asked Barcelona to give them a response by August 30th at 10 am ( which is only 2 days of time).
29.5 million euros- Barcelona are now asking for a 3.2 million euros penalty for not respecting the 3 day option they had on the player. And Inter? They are glad to have Gabigol, who cost them 29.5 million (as confirmed in the letter).
