From Spain: Inter jump ahead of Juve and Man Utd in race for Barça man

Inter have been offered Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, according to ok Diario in Spain. The nerazzurri are looking for midfield reinforcement and the Portuguese star was offered by his agent Jorge Mendes to representatives of the Serie A giants who have already made a first proposal.

Andre Gomes is being struggling with game time under Ernesto Valverde so far this season and is looking for an escapre route from the Camp Nou given that he wants to be a regular starter in the World Cup year.

Jorge Mendes recently met Walter Sabatini in Milan and according to our sources the two parties also discussed about Eliaquim Mangala and Alex Teixeira.

According to Spanish media, Inter have made an opening loan bid for the former Valencia star. Inter made a loan offer with a € 20 million option to buy.

The fee, however, is not high enough for Barcelona who signed the player for € 35 million only one year ago. There will be more contacts between the two parties in the future as Inter are currently leading the race to sign the former Man Utd and Juventus as the two European giants are no more interested in signing the Portuguese star.
