    Fenerbahce lepfrog Roma in race for Twente star Karim Ziyech

    Are Roma struggling to sign players? With the Borja Valero deal seemingly nowhere near being completed, the Giallorossi seemed to have stumbled across another hitch in their quest to improve their squad. 

    It is being reported by calciomercato.it that Fenerbahce are in the drivers seat in the race to secure Karim Ziyech, scorer of 30 goals in two Eredivisie seasons with Twente and Heerenveen.

    The promising Twente midfielder is set to be the subject of a transfer offer from the Turkish side, whilst Roma are only offering a loan with buyback clause.
