EXCLUSIVE: Unconvincing Boateng set for AC Milan exit

There are nine Serie A games left and one Coppa Italia final still to be played, but AC Milan and KP Boateng could part company at the end of the season, CM.com’s Federico Albrizio reports.

The former Shalke 04 midfielder joined the Rossoneri as a free agent last January but has failed to live up to expectations since then. Boateng, 29, has just played 256 minutes in 10 appearances, scoring one goal against Fiorentina.

Everyone at the club expected more from him. Sinisa Mihajlovic  has repeated himself many times saying that the player is not fit to play a whole game and patient seems to have come to an end.
Il Boa runs out of contract in the summer and AC Milan will not extend his stay at the club.

According to Albrizio, Lazio could give him a new chance in Serie A, though he has also offers from the MLS and Al-Ittihad, where he would team up again with his compatriot and former teammate Sulley Muntari.

Wherever Boateng will decide to go, he probably won’t wear the Rossoneri shirt next season after such a disappointing second spell at the club.
