You didn’t sell Mammana this past January, could he join Europe next summer?
“He is a very important player, but we want to keep the best ones with us. Every year we are battling it out for the most important trophies in South America, but if we are going to receive an appropriate offer we could think about it.”
Does he cost € 10 million?
“That’s not something I can reveal now, but Mammana’s worth a lot because he’s a great prospect.”
Have Milan asked information about him?
“We are on good terms with Milan. We’ve met Pope Francis alongside Mrs. Berlusconi and clubs like Atletico Madrid. We’ve never had problems with them, but we’ve never talked about Mammana either. I can’t exclude, by the way, that they are already in contact with the player’s representatives.”
What about Napoli then?
“That’s quite a premature negotiation right now, but we’re not in direct contract with them either.”
