EXCLUSIVE: Inter, no auctions for Gabigol, € 25m is their last offer

Inter’s mission for Gabigol begun last week when Piero Ausilio travelled the Brazil to hold transfer talks with Santos and the player’s family that own the 20% of Gabriel Barbosa’s economic rights.

Inter have offered € 25 million: € 18 are going to Santos, the rest belong to the player’s family. Doyen Sports Investment, that own the 40% of the player’s economic rights, will take their part from Santos.

However, with Atletico Madrid and Leicester City that have entered the race to sign the 19-year-old striker, Inter have already informed the Brazilian club that they are not going to improve their € 25 million offer, calciomercato.com has exclusively learned from sources close to the club.

Gabigol will take a final decision over his future after Rio 2016. Juventus have also made an offer for the Brazilian ace, but their € 18 million bid is below Inter and Leicester’s proposals.
