Exclusive: Chelsea target can leave Juventus for €60m
The Bianconeri superstar is being chased by Chelsea, and a €60 million pricetag has been slapped on the 30-year-old.
But why is this the case? There are a number of reasons: for a start, this morning’s Repubblica report, which claimed that Bonucci asked Coach Allegri to sub Andrea Barzagli off at the half of the recent Champions League final, which prompted a heated discussion between all involved.
Bonucci in general doesn’t seem to have quite re-established that rapport with Allegri, which is why he has agreed with Juventus that if a major offer (€60m) were to be made, he could be off.
There are further reasons: the Bianconeri also know that they have good replacements, if not players at quite the same level. Beyond Mehdi Benatia, the Old Lady’s young bucks, Mattia Caldara and Daniele Rugani, played superbly against Denmark yesterday as the Azzurri’s Under-21 side triumphed 2-0.
