Exclusive: Barcelona make improved Verratti offer including midfield star in swap deal

Barcelona are long time admirers of Psg star Marco Verratti with the Italian who has already agreed terms with the La Liga giants. The player’s agent had been pushing for Psg to sell Verratti but the club’s owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is not willing to listen to any offer for the former Pescara star.

Psg don’t want to sell one of the most precious jewels of their crown and Verratti has recently denied that he wants to leave the club.

"I saw what my agent said and just want to say that they are not my words at all. I want to apologise to everyone at the club, the president, the fans and the players. I have become the player I am today also thanks to the club, and that's why I'm deeply sorry”, Verratti said a few days ago.

Barcelona, however, are still keen to sign the player and Verratti is of course still open to move to the Camp Nou.

According to our reporter Angelo Taglieri, Barcelona have just made an improved bid to sign Verratti. The blaugrana have offered € 65 million plus Ivan Rakitic and are now waiting for a response from Psg.
