Emery: ‘PSG to consider all offers for Matuidi, but I want him to stay’

Blaise Matuidi has emerged as Juventus’ priority midfield signing after that Axel Witsel has decided to stay at Zenit for one more season (Juventus can sign him as a free agent next summer), whilst Antonio Conte has convinced Nemanja Matic to stay at Chelsea.

Matuidi, a France International like Pogba who has just left the J Stadium, might be available for a transfer fee of € 30 million and even if PSG owner Nasser El Khelaifi has underlined that the 29-year-old midfielder is not for sale, new boss Unai Emery has put the player’s Parc des Princes future into doubt.

“I want Matuid to stay, because I don’t want the best players to leave and Matuidi is among those.”

“A final decision, however, is not only up to me. There are three parties involved: the club, the player and I.”

“Matuidi represents the identity of this club, but we have understand what the player wants. The club have to consider all offers for him.”
