CONFIRMED! Chelsea eye Inter winger Ivan Perisic
The Blues’ next boss Antonio Conte is a long-time admirer of the Croatian star who joined the San Siro last summer for a fee of € 16 million.
After a difficult start to the season, Perisic is now producing a consistent brand of individual brilliance, so much so he’s responsible for five of Inter’s last nine goals with one goal assist and four goals (and a penalty kick won during Inter’s 3-0 win over Juventus in Coppa Italia).
Inter do not want to sell one of their brightest stars. Alongside his compatriot Marcelo Brozovic, the Nerazzurri consider him unsellable, though an offer in the region of € 30 million might convince Erik Thohir to open negotiation talks to sell the former Wolfsburg star who is on a € 2.7 million a year deal at Inter.
