CM EXCLUSIVE Agent: Berardi agrees to Juve move... in June
This Friday just got very interesting.
Calciomercato.com can exclusively reveal that Sassuolo have reached a verbal agreement to sell star striker and Under-21 sensation Domenico Berardi to Juventus... but only in the summer.
Speaking to agent Simone Seghedoni, we learned that the Emilian club had already agreed with Berardi that he wouldn't move anywhere in January. The 21-year-old was previously the object of a co-ownership between the two clubs, though it was the Neroverdi who made the biggest offer during the summer to bring him back to the Mapei Stadium.
"Domenico won't move to Juventus in January," Seghedoni told us.
"Juventus have a verbal agreement with Sassuolo over a June move, but we're not thinking about it at the moment, there's a lot of time between now and the summer.
"I can categorically exclude any departure in the coming transfer window. He won't move till June, according to a plan he's already agreed with the club.
"Berardi is thinking of one thing: to keep on improving at Sassuolo and Coach Di Francesco.
"We want to achieve our objectives, and score as many goals as possible in Serie A".
Juve fans only need a win against Milan tomorrow night to make this a weekend worth remembering.
