John Terry has penned a new one-year-contract with Chelsea, the club have announced through their official website.

The Blues have also specified that ‘The decision has been taken following the appointment of Antonio Conte as the club’s new manager last month, and consultation between Terry, Conte, the owner and the board’. 

‘I am looking forward to next season under the new manager and hopefully we can make it a successful one’, Terry, 35, told the Blues’ official website. 

‘Also, a special mention to the fans for their continued support. You’re the best in the world.’
