Chelsea: Fabregas would like to stay but Conte wants an Inter player
There has been a lot of rumors surrounding Spain international Cesc Fabregas but the player wants to stay at Chelsea.Fabregas spoke with the Chelsea management and told them that he would like to stay at Chelsea at least until the end of this season but in the mean time, coach Antonio Conte has been scouting players to potentially replace him. According to the Daily Mail, PSG's Javier Pastore is one of the top names on the Italian coach's radar but another player that Conte loves is Inter's Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. Fabregas' future remains in doubt as Chelsea are looking to strengthen their midfield. The Blues are currently 2nd in the EPL standings (with 25 points) only 1 point off Liverpool, who have 26 points. This year's EPL seems to be extremely tight as there is only a 2 point gap between first place Liverpool and 4th placed Arsenal. This is why the January transfer market can be very important for all of these clubs.
