Carlo Ancelotti says he would never coach Inter

Former AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has released an interview with Canal+ claiming that he would never coach Inter out of respect for his old club and is ‘history’ as a coach.

The Italian tactician, who is currently under contract with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, has also said that he wouldn’t coach the hatred rivals of other clubs he had coached.

“I could never go against my history”, Ancelotti has told the French broadcasters.

“My history says that I’ve coached AC Milan in Italy and PSG in France. I respect Inter and OM a lot, but I would never coach them as I’d never coach Atletico Madrid having been Real Madrid’s boss already.”

Ancelotti, 57, is one of the most successful managers in modern football having won the French, English and Italian league once at least and having won three Champions League titles with two different teams throughout his career.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager was appointed as Bayern Munich boss last summer to replace Pep Guardiola after that the Catalan boss had failed to win the Champions League in his three-year spell at the Allianz Arena.
