On the eve of his country’s game against Macedonia, goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has spoken at his press conference about the injury to Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo and the whistles he was getting for the Turin crowd last Thursday in the 1-1 draw with Spain.
 

He stated that; “I find it scandalous that a player is whistled when he is playing for his country. It’s something obscene and we have to educate the fans. Every player gives their all for this shirt and he has now picked up a serious injury playing in our colours.”
