    Benfica are closing in on the signing of Giovanni Simeone, the son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego. According to gianlucadimarzio.com, the Portuguese side are finalizing the deal and with River Plate and an announcement is expected in the next few days.

    Benfica have just sold Argentinean winger Gaitan to Atletico Madrid.
