Balotelli: ‘I will win the Ballon d’Or’
Talking to Corriere della Sera, the former AC Milan has said: “I played the last two years under my standards. I had physical problems and other issues.”
“Conte’s decision to give me a call-up for EURO 2016 is right, I’d have done the same, I am sorry not to be in France, but that’s the only way it could end up. I can do much more than what I’ve been doing so far.”
“On a scale from 0 to 10 I’ve done 5, but I want to reach 10 because I’ve learned the lesson and I still have time. I will win the Balon d’Or.”
Balotelli will return to Liverpool to begin the pre-season training camp with the Reds who are not willing to keep him in the squad next season. The product of Inter academy netted three goals in all competitions while out on loan to AC Milan in the 2015-16 campaign.
