This season hasn't exactly been everything Daniele Rugani. The former Empoli player was one of Serie A's shining lights last season, earning a move to Juventus which many saw as the next logical step in his career. Ever since, however, Rugani has failed to carve out a spot at the Juventus Stadium.

With talk of the 21-year-old moving during the January window (especially to Napoli and Fiorentina) intensifying, another club has reportedly thrown its hat into the ring.

According to the Metro, Premier League contenders Arsenal are interested in signing the Under-21 Azzurri star.

Having scouted the youngster out during the summer and made inquiries, the Gunners are now back with a £13 million offer. With Rugani playing exactly 2 minutes of Champions League football this year, and absolutely no Serie A football whatsoever, Giuseppe Marotta will have to think carefully about this one.

Then again, how much could someone of Rugani's stature be worth even with limited playing time?
