Agent of Blanc denies Inter contact
Various reports had linked many managers with the Inter job if De Boer was sacked and former nerazzurri player Laurent Blanc was said to have had contact with some representatives of the Serie A giants.
Talking to RMC Sport, however, the Frenchman’s agent has denied to have ever met Inter chiefs.
“I can categorically deny that we had found agreement with Inter”, Jean-Pierre Bernes told the French radio station.
“There is nothing between Blanc and the Serie A club. Many managers have contacted Inter asking to become their coach and this is normal because the nerazzurri are a great team. But I repeat the we had no meeting with their representatives.”
Blanc won three Ligue1 titles, three French League Cups, two French Cups and three French Super Cups during his coaching spell at PSG. The Frenchman and the Ligue1 side parted ways last summer with PSG that appointed Unai Emery as their new coach.
