AC Milan: Fiorentina open to Badelj sale
AC Milan tried to sign Baldej last summer but their financial crisis due to takeover talks with a Chinese consortium prevented AC Milan from making a fair offer to Fiorentina.
The Croat, however, is set to leave Fiorentina at the end of his contract in 2018. The player’s agent is not on good terms with the Franchi outfit and is not going to agree a new deal with La Viola, forcing the club to sell the player in the future if they don’t want to lose him for nothing in one year time.
Badelj has been struggling with game time so far this season as Paulo Sosa usually plays former Aston Villa man Carlos Sanchez and Matias Vecino over the Croatian midfielder who is no on Fiorentina’s list of departures.
La Viola director of sport Pantaleo Corvino is open to sell the player for not less than € 15 million.
